This unique revitalization of the original EPCOR tower office complex includes complete redevelopment of the parkade and tower floors, with an expansion of parkade and main and second floor levels. Potential future tenants include restaurants, food kiosks, banks and other types of office tower tenants.
The mechanical systems include a combination of new and existing refurbished systems configured to achieve improved energy efficiencies and comfort. Upgrades to the building automation system and the application of condensing boilers to existing heating loops are critical to the improved facility energy efficiency.
The project is designed to achieve LEED Gold EB status and is currently pending certification.The building incorporates many energy efficient features including high performance glazing and condensing heating plant equipment. This project also relied heavily on the integration of existing systems and equipment in the redesign to achieve a cost effective yet robust mechanical plant.
