PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Norwood Continuing Care Centre is a long-term care facility originally constructed in 1963. The heating system in the main floor mechanical room was original to the facility, and had exceeded the normal life expectancy. KFR Engineering replaced this heating system, and provided a new steam converter, condensate transfer system and heating pumps. Variable frequency drives were provided on the pumps to improve overall system operating efficiency.
