This new, single storey facility will house, maintain, and facilitate the operation of several EMS Ambulance vehicles and their crew. The building is divided into two major areas - one side is an ambulance garage and maintenance area, and the other has offices, a lunchroom, and sleeping space for the crew.
The mechanical systems were split accordingly with a dedicated makeup air unit for the garage, and a central air handling unit with variable air volume terminal units for the office and administration side. Notable features include a fully hydronic perimeter heating system and glycol heated air handling unit. The building is also equipped with an emergency generator for post-disaster facility requirements.
This project was designed entirely inside the Autodesk Revit BIM framework with coordination from other disciplines in Revit.
