The OSUM Control Building is currently going into construction at the new OSUM Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) plant in Northern Alberta. This design build project will feature a pre-engineered shop and warehouse, with approximately 15,000 ft2 of office administration space. The office portion of the building features a plant control room with under floor computer access with dedicated HVAC cooling systems, and is served by a terminal reheat variable air volume system for improved comfort and a hydronic perimeter heating system for redundancy.
The Control Building utilizes plant water and gas, and is integrated with plant services and controls. Due to the sensitivity of the control room, special fire protection systems were designed and installed.
